Iterum

Another day. Another mistake. Another threat to “escalate it to the higher-ups.”

You’ve heard it all before — because you have.

Every morning, you wake up to the same desk. The same stale coffee. The same smug coworker who never lets anything slide.

And every night, you find new ways to make sure he doesn’t make it to the next morning.

It’s just a loop. None of it’s real.

…At least, that’s what you keep telling yourself.
